Format is a footwear, BMX, and apparel shop co-owned by Nigel Sylvester. Its been around for a while, so you probably know about it. I never knew they had a website though, and a nice one at that. You can shop online or check out their blog which features some cool street culture haps.

GrindState | New Site


I used to go on this site Grindstate all the time. It was always way better than any other web blog or zine with a fresh layout great photos and dedicated features. Then one day it disappeared. I would go to the site every day to see if it came back then after a while once a month and just when I forgot and stopped checking someone told me its back up. Right now there's an article about ghost bikes up and thats something I've always been real into so check it out.

Subrosa Skeleton Crew Sprocket


Subrosa just dropped a new sprocket with a pretty rad design. Print actually on the sprocket is not something i have really scene much before. Its a cool idea and i think they did it pretty well. Check out the skeleton crew spocket over on the Subrosa site.

A huge congratulations goes out to Ruel and Alina on the birth of their first baby. Wormz sent me over some photos of baby Nikolai. If you have ever met Ruel and Alina, then you know that this going to be one awesome kid. High5!

Carhartt Street Jam in London


Project 5 and Dub are throwing a street jam in London in association with Carhartt. This is taking place prior to the Bike Film Festival's London screening of "I Love my Bicycle" the story of FBM.   The street ride will end at the theater.  Get your tickets to the documentary here.  I am going to be in London for this, so I figured I post it. New Skatepark in Manhattan


My friend Dave send over this link to the Brooklyn Machine Work blog to inform me of the new cement park in the city. I emailed the parked department about it and they did not have too much info regarding bike access. Either way though, we are riding that thing. The expected open date however is not until next spring.

S & M helps save Catty Woods


S & M Bikes came through in a time of need for Catty Woods trails. Catty was in need of funds to pay for insurance, which would allow to trails to remain intact and ridable.
